Here is an update on the clothing I am making. Some of it is now closer to being finished and there are also a couple new pieces.

Its been snowing here so the photos are alittle dark.

Earlier this week I travelled to Southern Utah to hike to the Confluence Overlook. I am not a super outdoorsy hiker type. I refuse to do any repealing what so ever. This hike is suppose to be quite easy and level. Although we ended at about the same elevation as we started there were alot of up and downs during the 5 miles to the overlook. Also, my amateur photographer was evident during this trip. Yay!

In the end it was truly worthwhile.

Its been really rainy lately. This afternoon it cleared up so I took some photos. I think the sky is the main star in these photos.

My inital plans for this photo shoot was to show off my new shoes. The are Born (outdoor hippie shoes) but they were SUPER CHEAP! They are also pretty comfy.

I like that no matter how yucky and overweight I am feeling. Good lighting makes everyone look attractive. When I walked outside with the camera and tripod I saw this patch of strong light and I thought "I could sit there". So, I did.

Last night Greg and I forgo going to the climbing gym due to his hurt fingers. Instead we watched bad movies and he ironed +10 Gingham stripes for me. Greg brought over some movies from his brothers collection. I almost flipped my shit when I found that Dan (Gregs brother who has Down Syndrome) wrote a short synopsis for this movie. He also wrote how many scenes we in the movie. Oh man, I adore these kind of surprises.

In other news here is an update of the clothing I am making for Fashion Stroll. Some of it still needs work but in general Im pleased with it. I think the overall concept is very clear. The cage Gingham top goes under the vest.

It seems as though every day I wear upwards of three outfits. I seem to change for each job and then when I finally make it home. I did wear the socks the whole day.

In general I feel like I am a neurotic person. I worry alot about everything, and am constantly a mix of anxious/excited. When I was a lonely teen I spent my entire summer break playing Tetris. Even to this day I adore Tetris, but the combination of adoring a game and wanting to beat the game causes an already neurotic person to become obsessed. I had a bad case of the Tetris Effect. This would continue with every video game I got into. I try to be careful with the video games I play let it take over my life and dreams.

Unfortunately last night it returned.

Last night, all night I dreamnt I was playing my Pokemon video game. I keep thinking "SAVE AND TURN OFF! SAVE AND OFF!!! I WANT TO GO TO BED".

This is another moment were I sort of hate myself. Not in the suicide way, just in the way that I wish I could change that or be someone else who sleeps well.

Look, Im so moody.

Here are the photos from yesterday, when I locked myself out. I wish I could talk to past me in the photos and say "Stay Inside! Dont think its a good idea to take photos on the back porch!"

Lately I've been having really detailed strange dreams. My dreams seem to incorporate all of my thoughts and the most minuscule things I see. For instance on the way to work I pass by a fine suit shop. When I'm lucky I can see through a back window a tiny shriveled old man working at an antiquated sewing machine. Last night I had a dream where I saw this man face to face. He was actually a tiny shriveled women in my dream. Wearing a thin cotton sleeveless house dress. She was repulsive and not "cute" at all. Its as if her skin were falling off. The entire room was a grimy mint green (yup grimy mint green!) She seemed to exude a sense of morose and dread. It felt like I could almost smell her decaying.

A friend told me that his theory on dreams was it worked as a mode of deleting all those small memories that don't have a definite place in our minds.

I usually take my outfits photos in the morning before I go to work. These particular photos are from yesterday. At first it was sort of chilly but it got warmer through out the day. Today the sun came out again and the lighting was beautiful. Unfortunately today's photos (which you will see tomorrow) weren't very good. I was preoccupied with the fact that I locked myself out of the apartment. Bah!

The best part is I locked myself out while testing out a way not too lock myself out. No keys & no phone. Yep, sometimes I sort of hate myself. Also I realized that me getting back in depended whether my roommate came home last night. I tried several things.

1) Throwing rocks at my roommates window. WAY too high for my weak throws to propel small rock to wake my roommate.

2) Knocking on the back door loud and hard for 5 minutes.

3) Trying to open the back window.

4) Walking to the front door hoping that the lobby was open.

The Winner
5) Waiting for a neighbor to unlock the lobby door and then knocking on the front door of my apt until my roommate open up.

I am very pleased with the way this weekend turned out. It was a combination of everything I love and is great in this world. I went to a birthday party and when it was about over I decided to take the birthday cake home. It was one of those moments were I wasnt going to take no for an answer. Here are photos from this weekend. The first few are of downtown and the capital from the Avenues.

Also last Wed - Thurs the artist Ernesto Pujol did a performance at the capital that lasted 24 hours.

Oh! Here is the classy chocolate I bought myself for Easter. When I saw it online I didn't hesitate. I instantly bought it, which was bad because it tipped me into the not safe zone. I hate that I'm so terrible with money, but when there are shoes and chocolate to be bought sometimes its worth the temporary displeasure.
